Zeeshan and Samana Fox Chase Manor Wedding
Zeeshan And Samana Wedding Photography
Wedlock is probably the most significant relationship in a person’s life. A wedding is the coming together of not just two people, but two families and their friends. Besides its social importance, marriage holds its natural and universal importance. Philosophers and great men and women have always said great things about the institution of marriage. Weddings are associated with true love, best friends, and longevity in this lasting relationship.
This young and a cute couple came to me for their wedding day photography. The bond between them was incredible. The plans they had for their big day made me feel that they are really organized and knew each other for years.
One of the things I loved about Zeeshan and Samana was how chill they were. Whatever the opposite of bridezillas, that’s what Samana was! They were also very clever.
Samana explained everything, about how she wanted things to be. It seemed as if she had been planning for a fairytale wedding since so long. She had a very clear plan for everything.
The venue they chose for their wedding shoot was Fox Chase Manor in VA. This place was just incredible and best for the photoshoot.
While Zeeshan, patiently looking at his love and blushing. He made it very clear that he wanted everything according to Samana’s wish. He just wanted her to be happy. Or maybe, he trusted her completely.
“Where there is love there is life.”
However, both of them were extremely sweet. The way they complimented each other, showed how much they adored one another.
We kicked off the photo-session with their Nikkah clicks. Nikkah is an amazing bond no doubt. The first picture is just after they signed their nikkah agreement. The sparkle in their eyes is just magical.
“Happiness is having a husband who is also your best friend.”
Zeeshan and Samana, the both, chose to wear lighter tones of dresses on their nikkah. This made them look absolutely elegant. Zeeshan’s sherwani looked extremely trendy. It had some different cuts and style. On the other hand, the way Samana carried her sharara despite being a bride is commendable.
This enchanted styled shoot is downright heavenly!
Nikkah is a symbol of eternal love, devotion and an agreement between two parties to love, cherish one another for the rest of their lives.
“A great marriage is not when the ‘perfect couple’ comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.”
Coming on to applying henna, which is one of the fascinating wedding tradition.
Did you know? Mehndi is considered as the oldest form of body art that has ever been into existence. The word ‘Mehndi’ comes from a word, ‘mendhika,’ which refers directly to the henna plant itself. The usage of Mehndi dates back to the time prior to the Vedic Age. Traces of henna being used in mummification have also been found. Also, it is believed that the beautiful princess, Cleopatra used henna to paint her body.
Samana chose a very decent design for her henna. The color of Samana’s henna truly depicts how much Zeeshan loves her. She is blessed indeed. Henna with fabulous pearl bracelet in one hand and a gold bracelet in another completed her look like a bride.
Throughout, the shoot the couple was busy getting ready to look perfect in every shot. After all who doesn’t want to look perfect on their wedding day? Both of them were a bit nervous. They had a mixed feeling. It seemed that it was the say both of them had been waiting since so long. Samana, kept on emphasizing, to show the results of the photography after every shot was taken. While, I kept on assuring them, to have faith in me and my work. This was funny though.
Since the couple had a long day, they were really tired, so they decided to have coffee. That was a break from their photoshoot. Of course, I could feel how amazing their first coffee ever after nikkah would have been for them.
Hence, I didn’t waste a single second and rushed for capturing this momentous click.
The beautiful smile both of them are wearing in the click below is the best thing I have shot that day. Samana’s simplicity made me realize that a person doesn’t need overloaded dresses and jewels to look beautiful. A simple bride is the best bride no doubt. She chose to remain subtle. Still, her elegance won our hearts.
They were a little uncomfortable for this shot at first, but then it went well. I have focused more on their expressions and Samana’s jewelry in this shot. Samana’s jewelry was all traditional and unique. It went very well with her dress.
A great marriage is not when the perfect couple comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate than when I fall asleep your eyes closed or I.”
Weddings remind us that our lives have meaning and that love is the strongest bond, the happiest joy, and the loveliest healing we can ever experience.
This was all about Zeeshan and Samana’s Nikkah!
The next event I covered was their mehndi. Festivities in a desi wedding usually begin with the Mehndi ceremony. From the bride-to-be and groom to be to all the other people in the house gather together for a fun-filled evening/noon and adorn their hands with beautiful, flower, birds, and abstract henna design patterns. One of the most essential and fun pre-wedding ceremonies in desi marriages, some families also conjoin Mehndi and sangeet ceremony and make it a grand affair.
The destination for photography was the same. Nikkah filled colors in their lives. Hence, they chose dark color dresses to wear.
Below is the picture of Samana’s elegant mehndi outfit. She is wearing a designer maxi as she already wore sharara at her nikkah. It is beautifully embellished with diamonds and sequins all over.
Sequins are the ideal detail for the bride seeking to add a little sparkle to her gown. Create a subtle effect with smaller, lighter colored sequins, or make a statement with larger, darker sequins. Perfect for the bride with a dazzling personality.
The blue color she chose is vibrant, and silver is adding more beauty to it. She didn’t choose heavy jewelry as her dress already has those royal looks.
Zeeshan, color coordinated with her. Their dresses made them look like a prince and a princess.
Samana held this beautiful silver purse. It was shaped like a drum. I personally liked this. It was very trendy and new. It also had a diamond and sequins all over it. Just perfect for a bride!
Zeeshan wore a blue sherwani yet again to look stylish in his wedding.
Samana is carrying a hijab. This is adding more to her beauty and simplicity. Their smile made this picture perfect. The way Zeeshan complimented on her looks, made her feel at the top of the world and she felt more confident about her looks. Isn’t this couple beyond cute?
Those yellow fairy lights that can be seen at the back were all over the venue.
The picture below is on the bridge over a lake at the venue. The lake appeared as if by magic as we crested the ridge. It was in teardrop-silver in, and it was shaped like a perfectly flat disc of metal. No sound rang out from the shimmering emptiness of space around it.
Monastery quiet, it was lined with pine trees, and the whiff of mint wafted up to us. The idyllic scene took our breath away. Unruffled by wind or rain, it was vault still and restful. The only sounds were the bumbling of bees and the heavy echo of a raven crowking.
I swear each time I look into your eyes I get lost. I believe that you were meant to look only at me and me only at you. That’s why God gave you the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen; to captivate me and to look into my soul. I want to wake up every day looking into your eyes.
Now as they both wanted something more filmy yet decent, we took this shot. We asked both of them to look at each other and make eye contact. But this picture turned out to be more realistic when Zeeshan whispered to her, “I really can’t stop looking at you.” At this very moment, she blushed, couldn’t stop laughing and turned her face. We shot this special moment instantly.
“When I saw you, I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.”
“I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts, and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me, and my name will soon be forgotten, but I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.”
Next, they wanted to have some changes in the view. So we chose this site for another click. Their dresses are going well with the surroundings. This picture turned out to be a portrait picture.
This couple was very cooperative, and they were so much into each other that I was also enjoying clicking them.
The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.
Moving on their Mehndi stage. Below is the picture.
“I swear I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, and yet I know I will tomorrow.”
They wished to have a desi wedding. So their mehndi swing was also decorated using vibrant colors like orange, golden and yellow. Flowers were adding a lot of beauty to this whole setup. Zeeshan wanted to have yellow flowers while Samana loved red roses. Again, keeping her wishes in mind, Zeeshan agreed on red flowers all over. They said those flowers were a symbol of love.
This photography session would have been incomplete without focusing Samana’s cute dimple, which Zeeshan says, killed him. He is a die heart fan of her dimples. Samana isn’t found of putting mehndi, but she did to make Zeeshan happy and complete the bridal looks. Her makeup was soft and subtle for the mehndi as her dress already had many details.
“Look into my eyes and hear what I am not saying, for my eyes will speak louder than my voice ever will.”
He looked at her the way all women want to be looked at by a man.
Zeeshan told her, “I just want you to know that you’re exceptional… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”
This bought a beautiful smile over her face and made this shot so beautiful.
All Samana had to say for Zeeshan’s love and support throughout was,
“I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate having you in my life. For helping me through the bad times and being there to help me celebrate the good times, I cherish all of the moments that we share. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary for me to tell you how glad I am to have you in my life. I am so lucky to have you by my side. Everything you do for me never goes unnoticed. I don’t know what I did to deserve someone as wonderful as you, but I am eternally grateful to have your love, support, and affection. Thank you for being you, and for having me by your side.”
As a photographer, I tried my best to satisfy this couple by capturing their special moments as natural as they were. Hope every page of their album would bring back those amazing memories.
Best wishes for their future ahead.
This marked the end of their Mehndi too.
